Former and current representatives
from the state, county, and local
municipalities throw the first shovels full
of dirt to commemorate the start of the
Lafayette Street Extension Project.
Over 150 citizens attended a series of
comprehensive plan workshops in the
fall to share information on shaping the
county’s future. The most important
issues raised were transportation,
jobs and the economy, infrastructure,
revitalization, and taxes.
