Why this goal is important:
■■ Stronger marketing will help attract businesses, investment,
visitors, and residents to the county.
■■ People do not automatically think of counties when they
think of the place where they live or work.
■■ Montgomery County’s identity and strong assets are not as
well known as they should be in the Philadelphia region.
How this goal will be implemented:
■■ Through partnerships with the Valley Forge Tourism and
Convention Board and other tourism organizations for
attracting visitors and increasing county-wide tourism.
■■ Through partnerships with economic development
organizations to emphasize the assets of Montgomery
County.
■■ By increasing awareness of county economic
development resources.
