Western Center of Technical Study Website

The mission of the Western Center for Technical Studies is to prepare quality citizens for lifelong productivity in a challenging world by forming innovative partnerships among family, school and community. WCTS offers a full complement of academic courses to meet the educational need of every student. WCTS serves students from 3 surrounding school districts:Pottsgrove, Spring Ford and Upper Perkiomen.

In addition to preparation for direct entry into the workforce, WCTS students are prepared to enroll in college studies. Many two and four year institutions offer programs of study which complement the occupational areas offered at WCTS. Some of these colleges include Montgomery County Community College, The Pennsylvania College of Technology, Temple University, Immaculata College and more.

WCTS also has specific course articulation agreements with many colleges that allow students to gain college course credit, for work done at WCTS during high school.
