Abington Senior High School is a diverse and culturally rich community; which educates and supports all students in a safe learning environment that fosters self-worth, the achievement of individual and collective goals, and the attainment of standards of excellence in order to prepare productive, contributing members of society.
Abington Senior High School is a three year comprehensive high school. The 2005-2006 enrollment was 1967 pupils with 655 in the senior class. The total number of faculty assigned to the high school is 142.
The high school is located approximately five miles north of Philadelphia in a suburban residential area. The school district has an enrollment of 7527 pupils who come from a variety of community settings and many socioeconomic levels.
